One of Rolex's most famous watch lines is their Rolex Day-Date. The watch of presidents and here is Tudor's more affordable answer, the Date+Day. Originally launched in 1969 these were larger than the Day-Dates by Rolex but featured many of the same Rolex parts such as the caseback, crown, etc.
There is significant patina to the dial that some would call tropical. This has remained unfinished though the inside was cleaned and restored and resealed. This watch shines with its stainless steel bezel, light brushing to the front face of the case, polish to the sides and lovely contrasting Sunburst speckled dial against the muted pearl Stingray strap.
The serial dates this watch to circa 1969, the birth year of this line by Tudor making this a rather special piece.
